Job description:

We are looking for a track construction worker, metalworker, welder, civil engineer, heavy equipment operator, or steelworker. Career changers with technical understanding are also welcome!
The tasks include maintenance and servicing of track systems, assembly work, as well as inspection and welding tasks. Physical fitness and willingness to travel are required. We offer attractive pay, paid travel, and long-term career prospects.

Tasks:

Maintenance and repair of switches and track systems
Mobile alignment work, component replacement, grinding, and welding
Installation of switch drives, signaling technology, as well as drive and locking technology
Inspection and control activities

Requirements:

Experience as a track construction worker, metalworker, welder, civil engineer, heavy equipment operator, or steelworker – career changers with technical understanding and willingness to learn are welcome
Physical fitness and resilience
Class B driver's license (BE is an advantage)
Basic German skills or willingness to improve (necessary for later work with blueprints and reports)
Willingness to travel (50% of work in Hamburg, 50% nationwide with overnight stays)
