Job description:
We are looking for motivated staff for the sample reception area at a renowned laboratory in Hamburg! This position is ideal for candidates without specific prior knowledge, who have an interest in the food industry and bring basic skills. The work is conducted in a three-shift system (between 6:00 AM and 10:00 PM).
Tasks:

Acceptance, inspection, and initial registration of incoming samples

Sorting and distribution of samples for laboratory analysis

Storage, sampling, and proper disposal of samples

Re-sampling of samples in case of complaints

Support in registering samples from partner laboratories

Communication with various departments for quality assurance

Occasional lifting of packages (10–15 kg)
Requirements:

Completed training in the food industry, food production, or as a baker, butcher, or laboratory technician. An internationally recognized university degree requires no additional certification.

German language skills at a minimum of B1 level for daily communication.

Basic computer skills.

Reliability, team spirit, and strong communication skills.

Ability to work independently and with a solution-oriented approach.
